Something has you feeling stuck.

You're the one others rely on — at work and at home.

You show up for everyone. You keep everything running.

You’re juggling a never-ending checklist, responsibilities, and expectations while balancing your career, household, the quiet and not-so-quiet changes of midlife (like perimenopause) that no one really warned you about.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped making it onto your own list.

It’s all becoming too heavy — now you’re starting to feel it, both emotionally and physically.

Let’s reconnect you with the version of yourself that isn’t running on empty.

Hi, I’m gail.

I’m here to help women, like you, navigate the quiet (and not-so-quiet) struggles of midlife.

Too many women feel like they should be able to “handle it all” — careers, families, caregiving, and along with all the changes during midlife. The truth? You were never meant to carry so much without support.

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly 30 years in the field. Long before Seaside, I sat with women and their families, much of it spent inside the healthcare system, at some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

I've come to think of it as meeting people at the doorway, that in-between moment when you're moving from one chapter to the next and aren't quite sure what the next chapter will look like.

For the women I work with now, that doorway is often the moment you're feeling emotionally and physically exhausted from holding it all together. I'm here to help you cross through it.

Women who choose Seaside are in their 30s through midlife, navigating anxiety, emotional burnout, and life transitions — especially changes related to perimenopause and menopause. They are insightful, motivated, and deeply caring women who often support others, yet struggle to offer themselves the same compassion.

Seaside clients are primarily healthcare professionals, therapists, coaches, educators, and caregivers — women who spend their days supporting everyone else. They tend to come to Seaside ready — they know something needs to shift, and they're willing to do the work.

If this sounds like you — you're in the right place.

Counseling and support for women in midlife to feel more like themselves again.

  • You've probably read the articles and tried the tools already. What changes things isn't more information — it's doing the work with someone who knows your whole story and helps you find the changes that actually stick.

    Learn More About Anxiety

  • Change — even when it's chosen — can feel overwhelming and disorienting.

Sessions at Seaside provide a space to process life changes and learn how to cope with divorce, career shifts, retirement, health challenges, or relocation — whatever doorway you're standing in.

    Learn More About Life Transitions

  • The emotional weight of perimenopause can feel unsettling and isolating.

Sessions at Seaside provide a space to make sense of those changes, and to help you feel more like yourself again.

    Learn More About Perimenopause

  • Being trained in mental health doesn’t make you immune to anxiety, high levels of stress, emotional burnout, or life transitions.

Many therapists seek therapy not because they lack the tools, but because they need a neutral, reflective space of their own.

Someone has to hold space for the ones who hold space all day.
