ABOUT GAIL GERBIG, LMHC

Gail Gerbig, LMHC — female therapist in Lakewood Ranch, Florida for anxiety, burnout, and life changes.

I' m inspired by the beauty in everyday moments

and believe that healing starts by slowing down, turning inward, and creating a calming space for yourself.

I’ve been told that I have the heart of a therapist and the mind of a social worker. With almost 30 years of professional experience, I bring a warm, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to therapy. Clients often describe our work together as grounding, supportive, and empowering.

I specialize in supporting women through anxiety, emotional burnout, and midlife changes like perimenopause and menopause. My clients often wear many hats as: professionals, mothers, daughters, partners, and caregivers.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. And you don’t have to keep running on empty. Seaside is a space that is dedicated to you —and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

  • Therapy at Seaside is collaborative, supportive, and solution-focused.

Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals—blending emotional insight with real-life strategies.

    • Strength-Based Counseling

    • Mindfulness Practices

    • Integrative and Mind-Body Techniques

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all model.

In the beginning, I typically recommend weekly or biweekly sessions to build a strong foundation.

Some clients continue with that schedule, while others gradually change to monthly or seasonal check-ins for ongoing support.

Therapy at Seaside is designed to be flexible, sustainable, and aligned with what feels right for you—whether you're in an intense season of change or seeking consistent therapeutic support.

THERAPY WITH ME IS …

  • At Seaside, you’ll be welcomed into a space where you don’t have to perform, fix yourself, or be anyone but who you are.

    It’s human. It’s heartfelt.

You’re not just another client—you’re seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.

  • We’ll have honest conversations that honor you and your experiences—not just checking clinical boxes.

There’s no need to pretend here. Together, we’ll explore what’s real and meaningful for you.

  • This is your space to slow down and breathe again.

If you’re feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or just depleted—we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, while building tools to help you move forward on your wellness journey.

  • Therapy is always tailored to your pace and your needs.

You’ll have a safe, steady space to reflect, release, and regain your footing—one grounded step at a time.

  • Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, or something harder to describe—you deserve care that meets you where you are with empathy, not judgment.

Your emotions are valid, and your story matters.

  • Through reflective dialogue, emotional processing, and therapeutic tools, we’ll uncover patterns and discover new perspectives.

Most clients leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more attuned to themselves.

  • Healing isn’t just about surviving—it’s about reconnecting with your inner strength.

Together, we’ll help you set boundaries, trust yourself again, and create a life that reflects who you are now—not just who you’ve had to be.

You already have so much wisdom within you — therapy helps you rediscover it.

I SPECIALIZE IN

Coastal decor reflecting emotional growth — a core value of Seaside Mental Wellness in Florida.
  • Emotional wellness isn’t about “having it all together.”

It’s about honoring what you feel, understanding where it comes from, and learning how to respond with clarity and compassion.

At Seaside, we explore emotional patterns, reflect on life experiences, and build a toolkit to help you feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.

  • Your emotional and physical health are deeply connected.

Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed or navigating a health condition (including perimenopause or menopause), therapy can help you build a more sustainable way of living.

Together, we’ll create a personalized plan to lower stress, regulate your emotions, and support your overall well-being—mind and body.

  • Your body often holds the truth your mind tries to push past.

At Seaside, therapy doesn’t ignore the physical impact of stress, anxiety, or burnout. We integrate breathwork, mindfulness, and body-based awareness to strengthen the connection between how you think, feel, and physically respond—so you can feel more in tune and at ease in your own body.

  • Even welcome changes can feel destabilizing.

Whether you’re moving through a breakup, career change, caregiving, relocation, or midlife change like perimenopause or menopause—therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention.

You don’t have to navigate it alone. We’ll explore what’s changing and help you reconnect to the version of yourself that feels grounded, empowered, and whole.

  • So many women carry invisible loads—running households, nurturing relationships, excelling at work—without stopping to check in with themselves.

If you’re the one everyone leans on, therapy is a space where you get to lean back.

At Seaside, we’ll create space to breathe, reflect, and remember: you matter too.
